Per-charger subscription

Flat, per OCPP-connected charger. Counts at midnight UTC on the first of each month. Add or remove chargers any time; pro-rated additions, free removals. Includes both AC and DC chargers, both single- and multi-socket cabinets (a 4-socket cabinet is one charger).

3% / session gross value

Per-session transaction fee

Calculated on each completed charging session's gross value (energy + service fee, before VAT). Invoiced monthly. Refunded if the session is refunded. Doesn't apply to roaming sessions where you're the host CPO (those are invoiced under your OCPI partner's accounting).

Pricing FAQ

Is there a free tier or trial?

Yes, in a precise sense: we run a two-week paid pilot on up to 5 of your real chargers, and we credit the pilot fee against your first month's bill if you continue. The reason it's paid (€290 flat for the two weeks) is that it lives on the production stack — same OCPP backend, same operator portal, same support — and 'free pilot' incentives create the wrong selection of pilot customers.

How does the 3% work on refunded or cancelled sessions?

We refund the 3% on any session that's refunded to the driver. Net, you pay 3% on collected revenue. Failed authorisations and zero-energy sessions don't count toward the 3% at all.

What about VAT?

We invoice from Armenia and apply the EnerGo Chargers LLC tax stack. EU customers receive a B2B intra-community invoice (reverse-charge applies); UK customers receive a non-VAT invoice; rest-of-world is straight. We can issue invoices in your local company name and currency.

Do prices ever rise?

Our public price has held steady since launch. If we raise it, we tell every customer 90 days in advance, the rise is capped at inflation + 2%, and existing customers get the old price for an additional 12 months. Month-to-month means you can walk if you don't like it; we don't get to surprise you.

How do volume discounts apply to a growing fleet?

Automatically. The €25 tier triggers the first month your billable charger count crosses 200 at midnight UTC on the first; same logic at 1,000. There's no contract renegotiation, no signature, no commitment to stay above the threshold.

What if I'm at 8 chargers — am I priced out?

Honestly, at 8 chargers Monta is probably cheaper for you. We don't try to compete in the sub-10 self-serve segment. Once you're at 15+ chargers, especially with any DC mix and any white-label ambition, our maths is sharp.

Can I see what a competitor is charging next to your number?

Where can I see the legal/contractual fine print?
